Comments Policy

We invite your participation. We want to read your comments. It’s our hope for this blog to become a place for lively, thoughtful discussion.

“Give me the liberty to know, to utter, and to argue freely

according to conscience, above all liberties.” — John Milton.

That said: Your first comment needs to be “approved.” So there might be some brief lag time. After that, your future comments will appear immediately. We think it’s best when people use their real names, but that’s up to you.

The basic guidelines of civility will be enforced. Argue, disagree forcefully, debate away. But no personal attacks, no bigotry, and please keep the language clean. If you act like a troll, we’re going to shut the door.

No peeing in the pool!
